We had a wonderful experience with Parker Homes and Renovations. If you are like us, you dread the mere thought of a remodeling job! The research and bid process is stressful enough! We did all the “right” steps by getting several bids and ideas and checking references. We knew we wanted to convert our garage into a special room that would be capable of cancelling out the noise of the rest of the house. We also knew we needed to add a carport that didn’t appear cheap. These facts were about all we had going into the process.
Ryan Parker earned our business. He listened to what our primary goal was and added ideas that were progressive and added to the “new” room’s aesthetics and function. Specifically, he explained the need to use foam insulation within the walls for sound reduction, suggested moving our washer and dryer into the new room by housing it into a separate enclosed area in the room, and then replacing the area that previously housed the washer and dryer with a utility complete with a Silestone top that matched our kitchen island.
Ideas are great, but for many, single dimension drawings are very hard to translate into what the final end product will really look like. Unlike the other 5 bids we obtained, Ryan utilized a computer assisted drafting program to bring the room and carport into 3D life. Obviously, a picture wasn’t what won Ryan our business. His bid wasn’t the highest or lowest, but his patience in tweaking ideas and explaining every step and detail of the project were miles beyond his competition. Unfairly, we were a bit concerned about how young Ryan Parker was and couldn’t help but wonder if this would be an issue. This proved to be a mute concern! Ryan grew up in this business with his father. The people he utilizes for every aspect of his projects are those who have worked for him and his father for several years and many, over a decade.
During the process, Ryan, was un-flappable! With any remodeling, issues not expected are the norm, not the exception. We’d get worried, and Ryan would simply reply: “it’s not a problem, we can take care of it”. Ryan demands and expects that his projects are nothing less to what he would allow in his own personal home. Ryan’s attention to detail is beyond reproach. During the process, he would add small improvements that proved to be some of the most wonderful aspects of the room.
We can’t begin to explain how wonderful his work lead to what we have now named the “perfect room”. The carport is impossible to know that is an addition! He tied the roof to the existing roof and matched the rock on the house to the bottom of the supporting beams. We have a golf cart automatic garage opener that allows access to the storeroom portion of the previous garage that was a wonderful idea on his part and allows us to store our bikes and lawn equipment. The inside of the room is so beautiful and functional and exceeds our expectations in so many ways.
Parker Homes and Renovations have earned our business for life. How we wish we had the money to hire them to build a custom home form scratch! We have repeatedly told Ryan to feel free to use us as a reference. Our frustration is knowing that our words are simply unable to explain how wonderful the project turned out!
Sincerely,

Building or remodeling is challenging enough, and we were actually still living at our house during all of this construction. Ryan made the process easier and moved the project along at a very timely manner. He made sure we were happy at every stage of the project. He is truly a one of a kind business man. In fact, its hard not to consider him a friend looking out for our best interests during it all instead of a contractor.
He came up with so many great ideas, trying to find a useful or unique things to do in every room. He didn’t like wasted space and we liked how he was trying to maximize every dollar we spent. This guy is seriously creative as well! His tile designs are one of a kind. He helped us with paint colors, tile colors, and cabinet styles… so many decisions but Ryan has such great taste and vision, we trusted his opinions. He even took a damaged dresser and refurbished it into a beautiful vanity for our bathroom. I get so many compliments on all the unique details Ryan put into the addition. My only complaint is that he didn’t redo my whole house!
I would recommend Ryan (Parker Homes & Renovations) to anyone! He is honest, hard-working and creative. You can tell he loves doing what he does and it shows in his finished product. He is truly a nice guy and easy to work with. He handled everything we threw at him with professionalism and ease. I can’t wait to start another project with him!

Parker Homes built our home in 2005. Several builders have come in and develpoed in our subdivision. the houses built by Parker Homes have been the highest quality of the houses in our neighborhood. Our neighbors have repeatedly told us they wish Parker had built their homes.
The attention to detail and responsiveness to our needs lead us to come back again and contract with Parker Renovations to enclose our porch to create a sunroom on the back of the house in August 2008.
The design/estimate process has always been very professional. Work has always been completed on time, within budget and in an accommodating manner.
We should gladly recommend Parker Homes/Parker Renovations for consideration on any new construction, upgrade or renovations project to anyone.
